Eduardo Bravo Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining TiGenix in 2005, Eduardo held several senior management and commercial positions at Sanofi-Aventis and SmithKline Beecham, lastly as Vice President for Latin America for Sanofi-Aventis. He holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA from INSEAD. Eduardo is President of the EBE (European Biopharmaceutical Enterprises) Board of Directors and member of the Executive Committee of ARM (Alliance for Regenerative Medicine).
Dr. Claudia D’Augusta Chief Financial Officer
Before joining TiGenix in 2004, Claudia was finance director of Aquanima (Santander Group). Previous experiences include Deloitte & Touche in Milan and Apax Partners in Madrid. Claudia holds a degree in Economics and a Ph.D. in Business Administration at the University of Bocconi, Italy.
Dr. Wilfried Dalemans Chief Technical Officer
Before joining TiGenix, Wilfried held several senior management positions at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals, Belgium. As director regulatory strategy and development, he was responsible for the worldwide registration of GlaxoSmithKline’s flu franchise. Prior to joining GlaxoSmithKline, he worked at Transgène, France, where he was responsible for the cystic fibrosis research program. Wilfried holds a PhD in molecular biology from the Universities of Hasselt and Leuven.
Dr. Marie Paule Richard Chief Medical Officer
Marie Paule has spent more than twenty five years in senior executive positions in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including Bristol Myers Squibb, Aventis Pharma, GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi Pasteur and Crucell. Prior to joining TiGenix, she was Chief Medical Officer at AiCuris GmbH, Germany. Marie Paule holds a medical degree from the University of Nancy, France, and, among other qualifications, a certification in Clinical Immunology.
Dr. Maria Pascual Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Quality
As a specialist in Regulatory Affairs for advanced therapies, Maria is an external adviser to the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and Chair of the Regulatory Committee of the European Alliance for Advanced Therapies. She holds a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Granada, a PhD in Immunology from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), and a Master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs from Autónoma University in Barcelona.
Dr. Mary Carmen Diez Vice President, Medical Affairs and Commercialisation
Mary Carmen is a medical doctor specialized in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Prior to joining TiGenix she was responsible for International Medical Affairs and Marketing for the Pain/CNS and Allergy Divisions of Meda Pharma. Previous experiences include various positions at Pfizer and DuPont Pharma. Mary Carmen has a Master´s degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain.
Susana Rojo Director of Human Resources
Susana has more than twenty years experience designing and executing integrated HR strategies in industries such as Consumer Electronics, Aeronautics and Healthcare. Before joining TiGenix she was 13 years at Abbott, where she was in charge of HR for the production facility in Madrid and the Marketing & Sales organization for Abbott Medical Optics Spain. Susana holds a Bachelor´s Degree in Law and Master-level degrees in HR Management (IE Business School), General Management (IESE Business School), and Leadership (Universidad CEU, San Pablo).
